Description:

The Technology Manager is responsible for maintaining existing systems while providing direction in all technology-related issues supporting information operations. Required experienceDuties and responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for evaluating,developing, and deploying all platforms and web-based services.
  • Define the architecture and lead the technical decision making ensuring high quality code, resiliency, availability, maintainability, security best practices, and an eye toward scalability.
  • Be responsible for controlling the cost of development at Caravel and be committed to velocity: be hungry to execute!
  • Direct management of engineers/developers, product management and technology partners and vendors.
  •  Advocate for technology best practices as part of the overall business strategy
  • Align and provide feedback on the product roadmap, work closely with product to decide on prioritization, resource allocation, and timelines

2.Marketing & Communications Manager

Description:

As the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be Leveraging an eye for creativity and experience in building and executing deep channel strategies to build and deploy a best-in-class global Marketing practices and programs, delivering brand excellence across digital & offline channels, and owning reporting and data driven digital marketing optimization. You will also be responsible for scaling 249Startups Marketing team, building a team culture that will attract top talents, and supporting the organization through several major milestones.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement 249Startups strategic marketing efforts across all channels..

3.Business Development Team Leader

Description:

The Business Development team leader will be taking leading roles within the department and have autonomy and discretion over decisions that are critical to company success. This role is responsible for the planning and execution of initiatives from the pre-program stage and throughout the duration of the program through providing business development support, advisory and building connections to the stockholders.

We work at an incredible pace, so this person will need to be a self-starter with excellent EQ, written, verbal, and visual communication skills, strong time management skills, uncanny attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and above all, flexibility and discretion. This role may require non-standard working hours.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Taking leading roles & leading team towards achieving needed targets of the company.
  • Developing proposals and markets insights to drive the business and design new programs with private & public sector partners.
  • Provide business, financial and investment analysis to new applications of startups joining programs or seeking investments.
  • Business development support to startups under supervision.
    Coordinate and project manage the execution of assigned strategic initiatives, with specific responsibility for cross-functional delivery of key projects, ensuring smooth collaboration across multiple geographies and teams, tracking performance and successful completion of short and long-term goals reporting back to the Managing Partner on progress, blockers and risks.
  • Organize and gather information from various departments and meetings on assigned strategic priorities and report that information, along with recommendations, to the Managing Partner.

4.Investments Team Leader

Description:

The Investments team leader will be taking leading roles within the department and have autonomy and discretion over decisions that are critical to program’s success.

This opportunity is an ideal fit for a candidate with prior venture capital Investment Management experience, Principal or Associate experience, now looking for a more entrepreneurial role with senior responsibilities and significant growth potential.

We have Angels & Impact funds, financial institutions and more entrusting us with their capital. You are a magnet for that. You strategize, organize, and execute the increase in assets under management. This means you’ll pick up that phone, take the meetings and convey our fund proposition to the right people. You’ll manage a team. You’ll work directly with the General Partners.

The candidate will be a hard working, creative, proactive and ambitious individual, with a desire to help shape the future of the venture capital industry through Rhino Investments unique model. You will lead a small task force of investment specialists, and work directly with a GP.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Actively source, outreach, contact and build relationships with potential leads and future investors (funds, financial institutions, multi-nationals, high net worth individuals, family offices and more).
  • Responsible for all fundraising goals and targets.
  • Lead global & local investors relations and business development.

5.Investments Analyst

Description:

The Investments Analyst will provide strategic & operational support to our portfolio investments. The Investment Specialist will facilitate investment transactions that maximize the impact of this capacity in collaboration with the broader investment team.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Proactively source high quality new investment opportunities that fit company’s investment criteria
  • Assist in the management of the due diligence process, review investment memos and drive investment execution.
  • Assist in drafting Investment Memos and Due Diligence Reports.
  • Understand and lead the full investment lifecycle from due diligence, close process, pre and post funding support to follow-on funding.
  • Mentor and guide startups by assisting them with fundraising, reviewing and screening their pitch decks, and conducting due diligence.
  • Provide mentorship to junior analysts and interns in the investment team.
  • Develop an astute point of view on the investment opportunities the company should be pursuing, create market landscapes, source exciting companies, and articulate thoughtful analyses and recommendations to Partners.

7.Financial Analyst Intern – Valuation & Business Modeling

Job Description:

As a Financial Analyst Intern you will be part of our business development & fund teams . You will work in a diverse, dynamic team that offers great development opportunities within the network of 249Startups.

The following tasks will be part of your role:
– Analysis of business plans, growth possibilities and financials of new ventures
– Support in valuation of our portfolio companies
– Active participation in financial modelling (Discounted Cash Flow, Option Pricing, Waterfall Models etc.)
– Competitive analysis and market research on both private and public markets
– Support in holding activities such as Accounting and Reporting

Qualifications:

  1. You should be a graduate or about to graduate from a known University and your studies should be Business related, preferably with a focus on Finance.
  2. Ideally gained first experience in consulting, corporate finance, transaction services or in a high-growth start-up.
  3. You have strong analytical and structured thinking skills as well as hands-on mentality.
